Overview

1to9 Puzzle (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a free daily number puzzle. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the limited data this site handles.

Sign-in with Google

You may optionally sign in using your Google account. When you do, we receive your name and email address from Google solely to identify your account save your puzzle metrics within the site. We do not receive your Google password or any other Google data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your Google account information with any third party.

What we store

If you sign in, we store:

• Your email address (used to identify your account).
• A display name that you provide, which you can set to anything you like on your profile page.
• Your puzzle scores (Mathematical Reasoning Score and solve time) for puzzles you have completed while signed in.

If you do not sign in, we store nothing about you.

Cookies and session storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in between visits. We also use your browser’s sessionStorage to remember your solved-puzzle state within a single browsing session; this data never leaves your device.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking of any kind.

Third-party services

Sign-in is handled by Google OAuth. When you use Google to sign in, Google’s own privacy policy applies to that interaction. We do not otherwise share data with any third party.

Data retention and deletion

Your account data is retained for as long as you have an account. If you would like your data removed, contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly.
